The Portuguese Infantry of the line were excellent and gave fine support to their British allies. They wore "stove pipe shakos", and medium blue coatees and breeches.

Portugues Cacadores (Riflemen)

Equipped and trained like the British Rifle Regiments, the Cacadores were Portugal's crack troops uniformed in shakos and rust brown coatees and breeches.
