The original catalogue description states:

Tough and very professional soldiers the Nassau Infantry made a colourful spectacle in their green uniforms trimmed in yellow and in Hussar-like fur busbies.

The troops of Nassau fought against Britain in the Peninsular War but were useful allies to the British cause in the Waterloo campaign where they played a vital role.
