Marines of the Guard 1804/15

The original catalogue description states:

The Marines of the Guard saw much service, most of it on dry land, seeing hard campaigning from Spain in the South to Russia in the East.

The Marines wore an elaborate uniform consisting of a corded shako with a tall plume, a braided hussar style jacket with brass shoulder scales and long trousers with braiding on them. The Officers wore cocked hats and long tailed coats, breeches and tasselled boots.
